Thanks to Genot Centre collective, Radio Wave and PONEC Theatre you have the great option to experience the sixteenth edition of an ongoing series of sleepover concerts, this time with a focus on electroacoustics and water. The main foreign guests will be French electroacoustic composer and artistic director of the INA-GRM institute, Kassel Jaeger. This collaborator of Stephen O’Malley, Jim O’Rourke and Stephan Mathieu will present his radical version of electroacoustic minimalism. Since 2006, the Paris based Japan-born artist Tomoko Sauvage has been exploring the world of sounds of the Jalatarangam, an originally Indian instrument which is based on ceramic bowls filled with water. She will present her delicate compositions (released last year on Shelter Press) at Silent_Night in a Czech premiere.
The Czech and Slovak scene will be represented by Stanislav Abrahám presenting his special water-themed live-set and the respected instrument manufacturer Jonáš Gruska with his mobile megaphone soundsystem.

SILENT_NIGHT#16 will take place at Prague’s Ponec Theatre on the 24th November 2018 and it will finish again with a shared breakfast in the morning. The capacity is strictly limited to 40 overnight tickets and 40 tickets for the first part of the night with Kassel Jaeger & Jonáš Gruska. Presale starts at 10:00 AM on the 8th November 2018.
