Bio:
After graduation from the Dance Conservatory in Brno in 2003, he joined the ballet ensemble of the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava. In 2006 he became a member of the Prague ensemble Laterna Magika and stayed for two seasons. In 2008 he accepted an offer from the ballet ensemble of the National Theatre in Brno where he became a soloist a year later. In 2012 he joined the Prague National Theatre, the member of which he remains until these days. Thanks to his appearance and performing abilities he had the opportunity to perform in a wide variety of classical as well as modern ballet productions with focus on character roles such as: the title roles in the ballet performances of Spartacus and Othello (National Moravian-Silesian Theatre), the role of Seducer in the Wonderful Circus (Laterna Magika), the Narrator in Carmen by Cayetano Soto, Valmont in Dangerous Liaisons by Krzysztof Pastor, Gigolo in Coppélia on Montmartre by Youri Vàmos or solo part in the Creation by Uwe Scholz (National Theatre in Brno). On the stage of the National Theatre in Prague, he performed (among many other roles) as: Hilarion in Giselle (together with Svetlana Zakharova), Toník in Krabat - the Sorcerer's Apprentice, Jiřík in Goldilocks and Scrooge in the Nutcracker - A Christmas Story. He also dances the roles of Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet and Rothbart in Swan Lake; he had the opportunity to perform in these roles in various other ballet productions in the past. He is a regular guest of the Laterna Magika performances.
As a producer and choreographer, he cooperated in performances and projects for the National Theatre in Brno and the Tanec Valmez Dance Festival. He also cooperated with the dance groups Pro-Art, Dekkadancers or with the Department of Alternative Theatre at the Academy of Performing Arts (Faculty of Theatre) in Prague. He is a co-author (together with Ondřej Vinklát and Štěpán Pechar) of the choreography titled 131ND 56LM 31NS performed for the ceremonial opening of the National Theatre's 2013/2014 season.
