Bio:
Dancer, choreographer and teacher – graduated from the dance conservatory in Banska Bystrica, and then studied in Bratislava and continued at the prestigious P.A.R.T.S. dance school in Belgium. He was for several years a member of the famous Akram Khan Dance Company. He is one of the founding members of the renowned Les SlovaKs Dance Collective, for which he created the choreography Opening night. As an independent choreographer he has worked together with, among others, the Helsinki City Theatre, the Iceland Dance Company andthe Scottish Dance Theatre.In 2008 he created Heaven is the place for Prague company DOT504. Lachky is also a much sought-after teacher who has taught in most European countries as well as in Asia and North and South America.His own projects, such as Side Effects, are created with close collaborators within the Anton Lachky Company.
