Bio:
Jana Vrána (Dancer, choreographer, performer) was born in Jihlava. She is a graduate of the Duncan Centre Conservatory in Prague (contemporary dancing and creation). During her studies she had a professional fellowship at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona.
In her artistic activity she focuses primarily on her own production, in which she combines dancing with the new media and thus enhances the diverse capabilities of modern dancing expression. She also works as a dancing performer, choreograph and model for directors, photographers, jewel designers, musicians, movie artists and designers. She is also involved in teaching projects. She can be currently seen in her author-performance “Resolution” at the experimental venue NoD. She is working with director David Radok in the “Arsilda” opera. She is involved in the neo-circus project “Loser(s)”. She has a solo appearance in the opera „Z mrtvého domu“ (From the House of the Dead) at the National Theater.
